We spent a long time on the colors. Bright white screens get tiring fast, and loud palettes compete with the conversation they're supposed to hold. We settled on a quiet base with one warm accent, built for long reading sessions, so the words on the screen (yours and the models') are what you actually notice.
Same goes for the interface. If you need a manual to start a debate, we've failed. If a button needs a tooltip to explain itself, we rename the button instead.
