Child Safety Standards
Polora does not allow child sexual abuse or exploitation of any kind. This page explains the standards we hold, how anyone can report a concern, and what we do when we receive one. It applies to the Polora web app and the Polora apps on the App Store and Google Play.
1. What is not allowed
- Any content that sexualizes a minor, including images, video, text and links to such material.
- Grooming, or any attempt to build contact with a minor for a sexual purpose.
- Asking a minor for sexual content, personal details, or a meeting.
- Sharing, requesting or promoting child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
These rules cover everything people create and share on Polora, including personas, published stars and messages between people.
2. Who can use Polora and who can message
- You must be at least 14 years old to use Polora. Everyone tells us their birth year and month once ; an account below the minimum age is closed.
- Messages between people are for adults only (18 and over), on both sides. A person under 18 cannot send or receive them.
- The person who made a star decides whether others can message them, and can switch it off at any time.
- A first message is a single request : nothing more can be sent until the other person replies.
3. How to report
- In the app : open the message, choose Report, and pick Concern about a child’s safety. You can also block the person, which stops their messages from reaching you.
- By email : write to support@polora.ai. You do not need a Polora account to report.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
4. What we do
- Our team reviews every report about a child’s safety as a priority.
- We remove violating content and close the accounts involved.
- As the law requires, we report apparent child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement.
- When a message is reported, our team can read that message to keep people safe, as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Contact
Our child safety contact is support@polora.ai. See also our Terms of Service.
